This article discusses the issues of developing the spiritual and moral qualities of future primary school teachers based on an innovative approach in the teaching process. The article interprets the spiritual and moral integrity of the pedagogical personality as an important factor ensuring the effectiveness of education. It also substantiates the technology of forming such qualities as independent thinking, creative approach, social activity and responsibility in future teachers through the combination of interactive methods, information and communication technologies and national values. The research conclusions develop practical recommendations for educational institutions, teachers and students.
